Joslin Construction recently installed necessary utilities for the 4 million square foot Daikin Manufacturing Center of Houston. The $417-million campus is the world’s largest tilt-up building. Joslin Construction installed 65,000 linear feet of water, sewer, and storm utilities; utilizing 100,000 tons of cement stabilized sand in the process. The new 497-acre property will expand Daikin’s Goodman operations, house distribution, manufacturing, R&D operations, and offices. 5,000 new jobs are expected to be generated by this plant.
